Last week a colleague recommended the superpowers plugin to me, and the following workflow has been working well:

  1. Use /superpowers:brainstorm to capture the context of the task. For example: /superpowers:brainstorm I want to build a prototype for <issue>. Help me clarify the exact constraints and requirements

  2. Use /superpowers:write-plan to draft a plan doc with the captured context.

  3. Manually update the plan doc and go back and forth with Claude Code to make sure details are correct.

  4. Use /superpowers:execute-plan to execute the plan in a subagent.

Skills can also be invoked conversationally—something like “Use superpower to help me brainstorm this task” works too, so you don’t need to remember the exact slash command syntax.
